More June Magic!
So, you’ve got a birthday in June & pearls just aren’t your thing… No problem! June is one of those wonderful months with not one-but TWO alternate birthstone options- Moonstone & Alexandrite!
… “Shine bright like a diamond” … “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without” … “A diamond is merely a lump of coal that did well under pressure” … “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend (& a man’s worst enemy)” … “The only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond” … “Shine on you crazy diamond” …
……….& the list goes on & on! The subject of many a quote, diamonds are without a doubt the most well-known gemstone in the entire world! Diamond is also the birthstone for the month of April.
Happy FriYAY! Okay, so apparently today is “World Backup Day”!
“WHAT IS BACKUP?
A backup is a second copy of all your important files — for example, your family photos, home videos, documents and emails.” – (NationalDayCalendar.com)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Happy Friday!
Today we will be celebrating St. Paddy’s Day with Celtic Design & Claddagh Rings!
The Claddagh ring is the most recognized piece of traditional Irish jewellery.
The name is derived from the Irish fishing village, Claddagh, where the customs with respect to the ring are said to come from.
It is composed of three symbols; the hands, the heart, & the crown. The hands represent friendship, the heart for love, & the loyalty is symbolized as the crown. Additionally the phrase “love & friendship reign” is associated with the symbolic trio.
Besides the meaning behind the ring itself, the finger it is worn on & the direction in which it faces symbolic too…
If worn on the left hand with the heart facing outward, it means that the person wearing the ring is engaged.
If worn on the left hand with the heart facing inward, it means that the person wearing the ring is married.
If worn on the right hand with the heart facing outward, it means that the person wearing the ring is single.
If worn on the right hand with the heart facing inward, it means that the person wearing the ring is taken/in a relationship.
